BACK: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail
CHEST: behind the front legs, around the deepest part of the chest
NECK: around the neck where the collar would sit

Very easy to follow instructions, very fun to sew! Still have to check if the size fits right because it’s a gift but it looks really nice.
Ive used this pattern before and it is excellent. Easy to follow instructions for downloading, printing the pattern pieces, and sewing the pajamas. The instructions are very well written with excellent color photos describing each step in detail so even a beginner can complete this project with confidence. I have purchased different sizes to accommodate my 3 greyhounds and all PDF files are consistent in quality and accuracy. I highly recommend this pattern and company.
