HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG:
BACK: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail
CHEST: behind the front legs, around the deepest part of the chest
NECK: around the neck where the collar would sit

Simple but perfect. Thanks.
As a sewing newbie this pattern was fairly easy to follow. I had a little trouble at the part where you sew the arm holes together; however, I truly believe that was simply user flaw and not by design. Definitely go for a fabric that has some stretch. I used a cotton that doesn’t have any give which made sewing difficult (again- user error and not the designer) I’ll be reattempting this with a cotton knit next time. So overall I’m happy with this pattern! All errors made were on my behalf and not the designer.
