CHEST: behind the front legs, around the deepest part of the chest

I have never sewn before, but I managed to sew a suit using this pattern and instructions. It is fairly easy to follow.
I printed the pattern on letter sized paper and had a few issues lining the pages up. It worked best by following the outline of the pattern rather than matching the letters and numbers. I used the medium size for a 125 pound female Great Dane and the jammies were a bit large. I modified the pattern by shortening the legs, using Velcro instead of a zipper and using the contrasting stretchy cuff material for the collar. Sewing the jammies was quite simple even though I was a bit rusty.
This is a really cute template for pajamas. It’s almost impossible to find dog apparel that fits our Presa Canario, so I decided to make some. I was able to customize this template and tailor it to his body (he has a very deep chest like a Great Dane but is shorter/stockier). Thank you!
