HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG:
BACK: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail
CHEST: behind the front legs, around the deepest part of the chest
NECK: around the neck where the collar would sit
SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate: basic knit and purl stitches, 2/2 cables, shaping (increase/decrease), flat knitting, knitting in the round with circular and double-pointed needles, short rows (GSR).
Language: ENGLISH
YARN and NEEDLES:
– Worsted Weight/Aran Yarn (cca. 200 m/100 g)
– circular knitting needle size 3 mm (US 3)
– circular knitting needle size 4 mm (US 6)
– double-pointed knitting needles size 3 mm (US 3)
– double-pointed knitting needles size 4 mm (US 6)
GAUGE:
18 sts x 25 rows in Stockinette Stitch with 4 mm (US 6) knitting needles = 10×10 cm / 4”x 4”.

Purchased both Italian greyhound and whippet sizes jumpers with and without sleeves from this designer…excellent clear instructions. Fit on dogs also excellent and true to stated size measurements. First knitting patterns found that really fit these breed’s unique shape and show the designers understanding of their physique and how they move. My knitting has not taken as much yarn as stated on the pattern for the smaller sizes ….and opens lots of exciting colourway possibilities using stashed sock yarn (double stranded 4ply or single stranded 6ply).

Please consider designing another pattern for 4ply cotton mix yarns and maybe smoother outline for summer wear? I would certainly purchase.
